PCH Sweepstakes – What You Need To Know About Publishing Clearing House Sweepstakes

When it comes to giveaways and sweepstakes, only a handful can rival PCH or Publisher’s Clearing House. This is not your regular giveaway company because they are known for massive prizes with unique payout plans.

Among them is the “Win $5,000 a Week Forever” which sounds exactly as you think – if you win this, you’ll get $5,000 a week for the rest of your life. But that’s not all because you also get to choose someone who will also receive $5,000 a week after you die! You’re practically handing over your cash prize to someone.

This is not the only sweepstake PCH is known for. As of this writing, the following are only some the active sweepstakes from PCH:

Publishing Clearing House Scam - Sounds Too Good To Be True? Is PCH a Scam?

With all the massive prizes PCH gives out, it’s no doubt some will question its legitimacy. Some may even say that it’s a scam that no one really wins in these sweepstakes and they are just used to increase the company’s popularity.

Fortunately, PCH has been a totally legitimate operation since its founding in 1953. They are also very transparent with their giveaways, especially naming the winners of their latest sweepstakes. Aside from the normal notification to the winners, the $5,000 for life winner is also announced in major news networks such as CNN and Fox News.

Previous PCH sweepstakes winners are also listed in their official website.

Their additional proof of transparency is on their “Prize Patrol” that started in 1989. It’s a show that literally surprises the winners since they are never contacted in any way about their winnings. This is also a part of their method of preventing scams to their avid customers – anyone who claims to be from PCH with advance information of the Prize Patrol visit is always a scam.
